The major observation at every level was a lack of real  and concrete opportunities for this population to strive once outside a system that has cared for them for the previous 18 years. Smitty Industries aims to provide an opportunity to provide an alternative path that an astounding 75% of the foster care population take which is the one to incarceration and a life of recidivism.  Smitty Industries is focused on creating opportunities in the California's Central Valley focusing on the Fresno and Bakersfield, California areas.
